Hank Hopkins is the owner/operator/main floor layer at Kwatna Flooring. He was born and raised in Bella Coola BC and moved to Victoria at 18 where he landed a job at a local hardwood flooring company. He quickly discovered a love for the work and spent the next 20 years learning the ins and outs of the industry.

He took a brief break from flooring in 2016 and got his class 1 driving licence. He drove truck in Alberta and Northern BC while starting a family only to find his way back to flooring. In January 2024 he was ready to take the plunge and started Kwatna Flooring!

His attention to detail, strong work ethic and love for good quality craftsmanship has made the transition seamless. Specializing in hardwood but also working with laminate Hank and his wife Sarah are making their dreams come true one floor at a time!
